Bring your old mail
Moving from Gmail or another provider?
Bring your old emails over inside the BUOKO app: Settings > Move to BUOKO. It works with Gmail (using an app password), Yahoo, iCloud and other IMAP providers. Outlook and Hotmail can't be imported, because Microsoft blocks password access. You can forward new Outlook mail to BUOKO and import your contacts from a CSV or vCard file.

Can I start using it today?
Yes. Sign up free at buoko.com/mail/sign-up or in the app. Then upgrade to Business in the BUOKO app for Android and connect your domain.
Do I need to own a domain?
Yes. Business uses a domain you own, like yourcompany.com. You can buy one at any domain registrar and connect it to BUOKO in a few minutes.
How many mailboxes do I get?
One. Business is one mailbox on your own domain, like [email protected].
Will my emails land in spam?
We help you set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC, the records Gmail and Outlook check. Domain Doctor checks your records, so you can see they're right. Sending limits keep spammers off BUOKO, which helps everyone's mail get through.
Can I keep my current address and old emails?
Your address stays the same, because it's your domain. You can import old mail from Gmail (with an app password), Yahoo, iCloud and other IMAP providers in the app: Settings > Move to BUOKO.
Outlook and Hotmail can't be imported, because Microsoft blocks password access. Forward new Outlook mail to BUOKO instead, and import your contacts from a CSV or vCard file.
Can I use Outlook, Apple Mail or Thunderbird?
Yes. Besides our web, iPhone and Android apps, you can use any IMAP email app. Create an app password for each device in BUOKO.
Can I try BUOKO first?
Yes. The Free plan has no ads and no price; just sign in at least once every 14 days to keep new mail coming. Upgrade to Business when you're ready.
Monthly or yearly?
Both. Business is $6.99 a month or $69.99 a year. You pay in the BUOKO app for Android through Google Play. Google shows the price in your currency, with local taxes, before you pay.
I use an iPhone. Can I get Business?
The plan is bought in the BUOKO app for Android. Once you have it, it works everywhere: on the web, on iPhone and on Android. There's no App Store purchase.
What happens if I cancel?
You cancel in your Google Play subscriptions, anytime. Refunds follow Google's refund rules. Your domain is always yours, so you can point it somewhere else whenever you want. Details are in our terms.
